Quarterly Meetings Please make a note that all our meetings this year will take place at the above venue due to the extensive building work being carried out at the Museum of Cannock Chase.
April
The first quarterly meeting of 2008 will take place on Thursday 3rd April at Keys Park, (off Keys Park Rd) the home of Hednesford Town football club. The meeting commence promptly at 2-00pm and will be a Talk/Discussion about the green technology of "Wind Farms", given by Mr Ian Parker of Harworth Power.
Please make an effort to attend and bring a college or the wife all our meetings are open to the general public admission is free.

The Friends of the Museum of Cannock Chase will be holding a 2 day local history fair on Saturday 10th & Sunday 11th of May further will be made available as soon as arrangements are finalised.

The second quarterly meeting of 2008 will take place on Wednesday 30th July at Keys Park, (off Keys Park Rd) the home of Hednesford Town football club. The meeting will commence promptly at 7-00pm (doors open at 6.30pm) and will be a Talk given by Mr Malcolm Ingry (explosives expert) on "High Speed Tunnelling". If you remember the talk he did for us on the uses of explosives then this one should go with a BANG.

The final members meeting (excluding the coffee morning date to be finalised) with a guest speaker will be held in November and will be a talk on "OLD CINEMAS OF THE BLACK COUNTRY" the venue will be Keys Park Hednesford and will be held in the afternoon. More details will follow when they are available
